My journey into UX started when I wanted a career change, and I reflected on my experiences in workshop facilitation and education. I found a common thread of wanting to understand people so I can improve their lives in some way. These roles shaped my process-oriented approach to problem solving along with a genuine curiosity to learn.
I'm back in the US after finding “home” in other places of the world, such as Berlin and Taipei. I attended college at Wesleyan University in Connecticut, where my liberal arts education pushed me to draw connections and build community. I also got a glimpse of other cultures when I studied abroad in Spain and taught English in Brazil.
My passion for travel and culture has branched into my love for exhibits, reading (I have a growing list of must-reads), and learning languages (I speak four, and am learning French!)
